After your appointment, you will receive an email just asking how your appointment went - we take your responses very seriously.  You will see responses posted below, most are positive but there are a couple individuals who were not 100% satisfied and I have posted them so that you are aware......... "if you think education is expensive, try ignorance" best game plan is to know what to expect walking in.... If you ever have any questions DON'T HESITATE TO ASK, we don't charge for our services unless you are 100% satisfied with your return


Once again the war drums beat their monotonous drone.  After a year long series of small skirmishes and raids from the enemy on their hard earned resources, the exhausted soldiers trudged forward to once again battle the terrifying horde.  Not satisfied with their 20 percent royalty, the dreaded Income Removal Service ( I.R.S. for short.) was preparing for this years final battle.  This battle would decide if the peaceful villagers would survive another year, or be cast into poverty and desolation.

  Across the tranquil field, soon to be the scene of fierce conflict, the antagonists sized each other up.  The valiant villagers, though brave and determined were badly out numbered and out classed, their few weapons consisted of record books and receipts and were no match for the countless accountants and auditors of the I.R.S.  The armies charged full on into each other, the battle was joined.

  The villagers fought with a ferocity that had not been seen before, their way of life was at stake and they would not go down easy.  But the I.R.S. is a juggernaut, conceived and designed by the greediest  and most diabolical minds that could be found in the world.  As the battle raged it was clear the villagers were fighting a losing battle.

  Then a fierce warrior Princess arrived and charged fearlessly into the middle of the fray.  Unafraid of the maniacal enemy she faced, she doggedly attacked.  Smashing down the barriers erected by the I.R.S.,  rendering their weapons useless she drove the enemy from the field. 

  The villagers, bruised and exhausted had won this time.  By her intervention they actually captured some of the resources taken by the evil I.R.S. and would survive another year.  Her task not finished, the Princess stayed close to the villagers and trained them in the secret ways only she knew, to battle the I.R.S. in the next attack that was inevitable.

Client:  Sorry I am a bit upset this morning. When I went through the process about a week and half ago I got the same amount. I dont want you to submit it if I can do it for $14.99 and get a refund from you. I noticed on your website it states that if we are not satisfied that we are not obligated to pay anything. I believe you did a good job but we dont own our home and that is more than likely one of the things that we do not benefit from so we have a basic refund.   I can please meet you after work today to pick up my other paper work and money.
RESPONSE:  Correct, we provide a full refund for clients who at the end of the session are not happy and then there is still a charge for the commute to the appointment.  In this case I believed you were satisfied with the service and proceeded to submit the income taxes to the IRS minus the credit of which you were no longer eligible.  I understand your frustration and I deeply apologize for trying to be efficient and thorough.  While I understand that you don’t own your home, there are many items that were itemized and your home was one of them, but through another direction i.e. not mortgage interest/real estate taxes, the amount is currently set at 7% of your husband’s time and obviously that would increase dramatically with his decision to attend LE Cross-Over Academy.  We can further run the numbers for 2015 to evaluate whether you’d prefer to complete and itemized long form or if you would prefer to complete your own short form in the future to analyze the best and most efficient use of your income tax preparation funds.


Client:  Well I hate that we don't get to use the credit and that is the amount I was going to get through h and r block. So did you already submit it to the irs? Is it possible for a refund? I was gonna get the same amt on h and r block for 14.99
Response:  I am sorry that the credit is no longer available, it was to my knowledge when we started as I get regular Congressional updates, this one was obviously attached to another bill (i.e. law).  I understand that you had planned on using H&R Block and changed your mind to use our services, it is with that intent that I did submit your income taxes to the IRS and your refund should be available to you within 7-14 days.  You should also receive a link to access your income taxes in a secured cloud today.  I can provide you a partial refund but as the work was completed and it did involve travel to your home a full refund is no longer available.  The charge is also deductible on your 2015 income taxes. 


You always provide the most professional and excellent service. We appreciate the fact  that you cover all possible deductions and prepare our taxes accurately.

Client: My daughter is totally not happy do not file her taxes if she does herself she get the some amount back do not cash the check she is totally upset
ChasePreparer: I am sorry she was not happy with service, I do not file her taxes as it was not done by me. My understanding is she contracted w/ ****** and you contacted *** to advise no payment. That is perfectly acceptable. *** did provide you a significant discount on your taxes due to this referral though, and w/o the actual tax prep for referral, there has been or probably will be an invoice sent to you for payment regarding the obsolete discount. Said payment, while may not account for the time spent covers administrative charges and vehicle expenses. I don't understand why she is totally upset, if there is something that I can do to assist please advise.
Client:  She was charged a 170 dollars and it would have cost me 165 without the discount. Why was she charged more then my initial cost? My daughter has already contacted the bank and submitted a late payment. She was expecting a professional experience and did not receive anything professional.
ChasePreparer:  I am not sure what she didn't feel was a professional experience. Her income is substantially more than yours, so that would require some different forms, she is married filing joint, our typical rates for that are 200. *** completed all of the calculations as there was little that was prepared other than documents by other institutions. While I am sorry that she was not happy with the experience, if it is the fee, our fees are lower than or at minimum comparable to other businesses and we provide the 'experience' in one's home. thank you for your comments.

Prospective client - 
I sent an email a few days ago to confirm that *** was in fact supposed to come to my house- this was discussed several times and confirmed. It is almost 9 PM, and I have not gotten a return call to the 2 messages I have left and no one is answering it either. Not sure what to do now- I clearly explained that I needed to get taxes done as quickly as possible in order to get FAFSA paperwork done. My schedule is full the rest of the week. Not sure what I am supposed to do now- unless there was some kind of emergency, I  can't believe you guys came so highly recommended.
ChasePreparer: 
I have not received any emails from you at the office (chase1tax@gmail.com, nor my personal office email – chase1@hughes.net) so unless you were communicating directly with *** I was not aware of the email.  I sincerely apologize, I don’t know what could have happened to ***, this is certainly not a typical response as *** takes this position quite seriously and *** has many of *** own clientele.  If *** is out of the area or unavailable then *** phone would not be able to receive those messages, I am sorry, but I know our office and *** home office are ***** – cell phones don’t work here at all.  There were not any messages at the office from you or *** to denote there was any problem.

I am quite sure that ***is more than willing to reschedule as soon as possible, I know *** is booked this evening.  I know that you desire to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible but you are aware that the recommended due date for them is 3/1 and that is only to expedite school disbursals for the following school year?  It has been that way for about 20 years.  If booking with **** is not an option, I could squeeze you in here at the office ********

All I can do is apologize.  Everyone who works here works 2-3 jobs too and we do our best but mistakes happen and I will look into the exact nature of the missed appointment but in life things happen, obviously there is no excuse for not returning your messages when *** received them and if our abilities are in question than you are correct looking for a different service.
